We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Overhead Crane Operator/Shift Leader (1st/2nd Shift) to join our team at our Aluminum finishing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the overhead crane as well as overseeing the shift operations to ensure efficient and safe production. The right candidate will be able to work 1st and Second shift alternatively.

Responsibilities:
- Operate the overhead crane to move and lift various aluminum products and materials within the facility
- Ensure proper handling and placement of materials and products in accordance with safety guidelines and production requirements
- Conduct regular inspections of the crane and perform routine maintenance to ensure its safe and efficient operation
- Coordinate with other team members and departments to ensure workflow efficiency and meet production goals
- Train and mentor new crane operators, providing guidance and support as needed
- Monitor and enforce safety procedures and protocols, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate records of crane operations, maintenance activities, and inventory levels
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions with the crane or related equipment in a timely manner
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the production manager or supervisor

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Valid overhead crane operator certification
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating overhead cranes in an industrial or manufacturing setting, preferably in aluminum finishing or related industry
- Proven ability to safely and effectively operate overhead cranes to move and lift heavy materials
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to crane operations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment with tight deadlines
- Flexibility to work on 1st or 2nd shift, including weekends and overtime as needed
