Superior Metal Technologies is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. The Material Handler will be responsible for ensuring the proper handling and movement of raw materials and finished products throughout the metal finishing process. This role will play a crucial part in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect incoming raw materials for quality and accuracy

- Transport materials to and from workstations using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks

- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas

- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and restocking materials as needed

- Assist with packaging and labeling finished products for shipment

- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment

- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while handling materials

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Prior experience working in a manufacturing or metal finishing environment preferred

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time

- Experience operating forklifts moving long pieces of metal a plus

- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Available to work Second Shift from 2pm to 12 p.m. Monday to Thursday.
